Package contains: 1 Nos Simplefocmini Brushless DC Motor Driver Board Module FOC Control Driver SVPWM/SPWM Control Algorithm
SimpleFOCMini is a compact, low-cost, and modular brushless DC motor driver designed for running gimbal BLDC motors with advanced Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithms. Built around the 8313 chip, this board provides three independently controllable half H-bridge drivers, making it ideal for precise control of low-power BLDC motors in robotics, drones, gimbals, and hobby electronics.
The board supports SPWM and SPVMW control algorithms and integrates seamlessly with the Arduino SimpleFOC library, allowing developers to quickly prototype and control motor current, torque, velocity, and position. With input voltage support from 8–30V, output current up to 2.5A per phase, and compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V control signals, SimpleFOCMini offers flexibility for a wide range of projects.
Its key advantages include a small footprint, affordable cost, long-term component availability, and full compatibility as a drop-in replacement for the SimpleFOCShield v1. By combining powerful features with an open-source control library, SimpleFOCMini enables accessible and intuitive BLDC motor control, making it a perfect solution for fast prototyping and DIY motor control applications.
SimpleFOC (Simple Field Oriented Control) is an open-source library and ecosystem for controlling brushless DC (BLDC) motors, stepper motors, and gimbal motors using the Field-Oriented Control (FOC) algorithm.
-
Field-Oriented Control (FOC) is a modern motor control technique that allows very smooth, precise, and efficient control of motor torque, speed, and position. It’s widely used in robotics, drones, gimbals, electric vehicles, and industrial automation.
-
The SimpleFOC library makes it easy for hobbyists, researchers, and developers to use FOC without needing deep motor control expertise. It integrates with Arduino and other microcontrollers, providing a simple API to control current, velocity, and position.
-
Along with the library, the SimpleFOC hardware boards (like SimpleFOCMini and SimpleFOCShield) give users ready-to-use driver modules for BLDC and gimbal motors.
Key Benefits of SimpleFOC
-
Open-source & community-driven – free to use and constantly improving.
-
User-friendly – abstracts away complex motor control math.
-
Modular – works with many MCUs (Arduino, STM32, ESP32, etc.).
-
Smooth & silent operation – thanks to FOC, motors run with less noise and vibration.
-
Flexible – supports control of torque, velocity, and angle (position).
