The MSM26S4030H0 is an omnidirectional, bottom-ported MEMS microphone chip that provides I2S digital output. The I2S interface is a versatile digital audio interface widely utilized in DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and digital audio processing applications. In conventional audio systems, the microphone collects audio signals, converts them into analog voltage, and outputs them. The main controller chip then processes the analog signal after converting it into a digital signal through the ADC of the codec. However, the MSM261S4030H0 series product integrates a built-in 24-bit I2S audio port. This eliminates the need for an additional codec, enabling direct full-digital signal connections with DSP or MCU. The raw digital audio signal is directly output to the main controller chip, reducing the complexity of designing signal chains. This results in advantages in terms of size, cost, power consumption, and anti-interference capabilities.
