MKS OSC V1.0 Stepper Motor Pulse & PWM Signal Generator Module
The MKS OSC V1.0 Stepper Motor Controller is a compact pulse and PWM signal generator designed for controlling external stepper motor drivers. Instead of driving the motor directly, the module generates accurate Pulse (PUL/CLK) and Direction (DIR) signals that are accepted by most popular stepper motor drivers, making it an excellent solution for testing, prototyping, CNC machines, laser engravers, 3D printers, and automation projects.
Powered from an 8V to 24V DC supply, the controller provides adjustable pulse frequencies for controlling stepper motor speed along with selectable PWM output modes for applications requiring PWM signal generation. It is commonly used to test stepper drivers without requiring a microcontroller or to build simple standalone motion control systems.
The module supports High, Medium, and Low frequency ranges, allowing both slow and high-speed operation depending on the connected driver and motor. It also features forward and reverse direction control, making it suitable for applications requiring bidirectional motor movement.
The MKS OSC V1.0 works with a wide range of stepper motor drivers that use standard PUL (CLK), DIR (CW), and EN (ENA) control signals, including TB6600, DM542, DM556, M542, and many other compatible drivers.
Note: This module is a signal generator only. It cannot drive a stepper motor directly. An external stepper motor driver is required between the controller and the motor.
