Working Principle
The IR transmitter continuously emits infrared light. When the IR light encounters an obstacle, part of the light is reflected toward the IR receiver. The onboard comparator detects this reflected signal and changes the output state.
When an obstacle is detected, the OUT pin produces a LOW-level signal and the onboard indicator LED lights up. The detection distance can be adjusted using the onboard preset knob.
