DHT11 Temperature and Humidity Sensor module

The DHT-11 Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor is a cost-effective device designed for basic temperature and humidity measurements. Utilizing a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor, it produces a digital signal on the data pin, eliminating the need for analog input pins. While simple to use, precise timing is crucial for data retrieval.

To ensure accurate readings, it’s recommended to set a sensor reading interval of at least 2 seconds, as the sensor refreshes data only at this frequency. Although less precise and accurate than its counterpart, the DHT22, the DHT-11 operates in a narrower range of temperature and humidity. However, its smaller size and lower cost make it a practical choice for temperature and humidity measurements.

Notably, this package does not include an Arduino board, which must be purchased separately. Key features include low power consumption, relative humidity and temperature measurement, digital output with built-in calibration, excellent long-term stability, no additional components required, support for long-distance signal transmission, ultra-low power consumption, and a 4-pin package that allows for complete interchangeability.
