Ai-Thinker Rd-03E 24GHz Radar Ranging and Gesture Sensor Module

The Rd-03E Range Module is designed for applications where knowing “if” someone is there isn’t enough—you need to know exactly where they are. Powered by the S3KM111L chip and 24GHz FMCW technology, this module specializes in real-time distance measurement and trajectory tracking.

Precision Distance Measurement

Unlike standard motion sensors, the Rd-03E provides continuous distance data via UART.

• High Accuracy: Maintains ±5cm accuracy for targets within 3.5 meters.

• Long Range: Detects moving targets up to 6 meters away.

• Micro-Motion: Detects subtle movements (like breathing) up to 3.5 meters.

Gesture Recognition

The Rd-03E isn’t just a rangefinder; it allows for smart, touchless interaction. It can identify hand gestures within a ±20°/±40° angle, making it ideal for smart home control panels and interactive displays.
