Ai-Thinker RD-01 24GHz Radar Module – WiFi, BLE 5.0 & Presence

The Ai-Thinker RD-01 is a revolutionary “All-in-One” module that combines high-precision 24GHz Radar Sensing with powerful Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (BLE 5.0) connectivity. Unlike standard radar sensors that require an external microcontroller to send data, the RD-01 is a standalone IoT node capable of sensing, processing, and transmitting data directly to the cloud or your smart home network.

Dual-Core Powerhouse

The RD-01 is driven by two powerful chipsets:

1. Radar Core (S3KM111L): An FMCW radar SoC that detects human presence (static and moving) with high sensitivity.

2. Connectivity Core (BL602): A 32-bit RISC CPU that handles Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 communications.

Wireless Configuration & Smart Control

Gone are the days of hard-coding parameters. The RD-01 allows for intelligent parameter adjustment via Bluetooth. You can wirelessly configure detection distance, sensitivity, and delay times directly from a mobile device or laptop, making installation and maintenance incredibly fast.

Complete IoT Integration

With support for WPA3 Security, Bluetooth Mesh, and Station + SoftAP modes, this module is ready to integrate into secure smart home ecosystems (Tuya, Home Assistant, etc.) right out of the box.
