Introducing the expansive 2.8-inch TFT display, a vibrant and sizable screen with a resolution of 240×320 pixels and individual RGB pixel control. Notably surpassing the capabilities of a black and white 128×64 display, this module offers a visually rich and colorful experience.

An added bonus is the resistive touchscreen already integrated, allowing you to detect finger presses anywhere on the screen. The display features a built-in controller with RAM buffering, minimizing the workload on the microcontroller and ensuring efficient performance.

Operable in two modes, the display provides flexibility to suit different project requirements. In 8-bit mode, 8 digital data lines and 4 or 5 digital control lines are necessary for reading and writing to the display (12 lines total). Alternatively, SPI mode streamlines connections with only 5 pins needed (SPI data in, data out, clock, select, and d/c), albeit at a slightly slower speed. Additionally, 4 pins are dedicated to the touchscreen (2 digital, 2 analogs).

This 2.8-inch SPI Touch Screen Module is thoughtfully packaged in a user-friendly breakout board, featuring SPI connections on one end and 8-bit connections on the other. Both modes support a voltage range of 3-5V, thanks to high-speed level shifters integrated into the design.
