GYML5811 Analog Ultraviolet Light Sensor Module

The GYML8511 Analog Output UV Light Sensor Module is a convenient and user-friendly solution for detecting ultraviolet light. Operating by producing an analog signal proportional to the measured UV light, this module is ideal for applications such as sunburn warnings or monitoring UV index in weather conditions. It effectively detects light in the 280-390nm range, encompassing UVB (burning rays) and the majority of UVA (tanning rays) spectrum, providing an analog voltage linearly correlated with the measured UV intensity (mW/cm2). Featuring a UV-A and UV-B sensitive photodiode, an embedded operational amplifier, and an analog voltage output, the module ensures low supply and standby currents (300uA and 0.1uA, respectively). This makes it an efficient choice for seamless integration with microcontrollers to obtain accurate UV light intensity readings.
