830 Series Digital Multimeter – Pocket-Sized 3.5 Digit DMM for Voltage, Current, and Resistance Measurement

The 830 series digital multimeters are compact, 3 1/2-digit pocket-sized devices designed for accurately measuring DC/AC voltage, DC current, resistance, and diode testing. Select models also offer additional features such as transistor testing, continuity check, and signal output. These multimeters include overload protection and low battery indication, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

This product is commonly referred to as Digital Multimeter, DMM, DT830D, or Haoyue DT830D Digital Multimeter.

Key Components:

1. Function and Range Switch:

   • Used to select the desired measurement function and range.

   • Also serves as the ON/OFF switch for the multimeter.

   • To preserve battery life, always turn the switch to the OFF position when not in use.

   • The “10A” jack (for current between 200mA and 10A) is not fused.

   • For safety, measurements should not exceed 10 seconds, and intervals between measurements must be at least 15 minutes.

2. Display:

   • 3.5-digit LCD (12mm) for easy readability.

3. “COM” Jack:

   • Connection port for the black (negative) test lead.

4. Voltage/Resistance/Current Jack:

   • Plug-in connector for the red (positive) test lead for all measurements (up to 200mA).

5. 10A Jack:

   • Dedicated port for high-current measurements (up to 10A).

6. Light Switch (DT830BL models only):

   • Switch for the built-in torchlight and backlight.
