The Ai-Thinker Rd-03L is the ultimate solution for energy-efficient motion sensing. Unlike standard radar modules that require constant mains power, the Rd-03L is an Ultra-Low Power module designed specifically for battery-operated and solar-powered applications.
Industry-Leading Energy Efficiency
Powered by the ICL1112 millimeter-wave SoC, this module achieves an incredibly low power consumption of just 55μA, with an average working current of less than 100uA (at 1Hz reporting). This makes it possible to run smart detection systems on coin cell or AA batteries for extended periods.
No Compromise on Performance
Despite its low power usage, the Rd-03L delivers powerful performance. It uses 24GHz FMCW technology to detect moving, micro-moving, and static human bodies up to 8 meters away. It also features a “No Blind Zone” design, effectively sensing targets as close as 0.2 meters.
